Our Daughter and son were on extra Salt until they were about 1, then our Edno told us to just sprinkle a bit on their food. Said not to worry about it too much, as we eat too salty anyway, and they would get lots from other sources. I wold question the need for extra slat. Sure wish these guys would get their act together so there was standard treatment for all these kids, no matter where you live. Would remove a lot of the doubt about individual Dr.'s competancy Tom
