Sharon, It sounds like your son is not getting enough cortisone. I have read that the dark circles around the eyes is a sign of low cortisol levels - I would get him checked out urgently as he could go into crisis - this is what happens to me - I am aged 42 and am salt wasting. Regards Fiona
