His pediatrician put his night dose of prednisone back up to 5mg as of Wed. and his appetite is already increasing. Now we just have to see if he puts the weight back on...it looks promising. He was on cortisone acetate until we couldn't get it in 5mg tablets any more, that's when we switched to prednisone. His labs are always drawn at 7am, fasting, & no meds. We used to have them done exactly 1 hour after morning meds, but that changed about 2 years ago.
