Sounds like the same situation as us. My daughter was diagnosed at 5 after I found pubic hairs. Even being on medication her bone age has advanced. She is seven years old and started going through puberty (her bone age is 12). We are now treating her with lupron injections monthly. Your daughter is probably non-salt wasting, like my daughter. If she was salt-wasting, she would have been diagnosed sooner, most likely having a crisis as a young child. Like everyone else says, it gets much easier and you hardly even think about it. Good luck.
