our daughter was on 6 ml when she was young too. Bt 3 months old she was down to 3ml and now at 2 1/2 years of age she takes 1.5ml in am, .5 ml at noonish and 1.0ml at bedtime. So her cortef has actually decreased as she grew. Our endo has never been real strict re: timing of meds though I have read on this board that others were. He told us to shoot for 7-8 hours apart and not any closer than 6 hours apart. We never went through the waking her to give her meds etc. Her lab work has always been fine so it seems to work for us. I too have heard cortef can cause stomach ache but we haven't experienced that. I do make sure she at least drinks something with the meds, usually milk, hoping that will help the stomach.dina
