if the drs. suspected this baby might have cah, he should have never been released from the hospital until a concrete diagnosis was determined and the proper medications were prescribed. it is imperative that an infant be put on medicines immediately if they do indeed have cah. he could possibly go into sodium shock which could be fatal. i hope by now you'll have got a good endocrinologist to consult with you and keep a close watch on the baby. good luck
