Dixie, I just read your post above...my heart breaks for you. In answer to your question, no, I don't watch him take his meds, but I am VERY lucky in that we have a very special & close relationship with each other. He knows that I would die of a broken heart if he died before me. You see, he was 4 years old & I was 27 yrs old & single, when we lived with my mom (she was only 47yrs old) & she died suddenly of cancer. We still cry together over our loss of her. I pray every day that we remain this close to each other. I am also lucky (& he is too) that he has a very slim build, so the last thing he wants to do is loose weight...as a matter of fact HE was the one who realized he was loosing weight, and he brought it to my attention. He can feel when his meds aren't quite right, and he doesn't like that feeling at all. BTW-he has put 2 pounds back on, and by the sound of his voice he's anxious to see the rest of it come back. He's also happy about returning to his higher energy level.
