our grandson, 6 years old, actually is given 2 sodium tablets in the am and 2 in the pm which he swallows with his other meds. i'm worried that's too much salt when added to the table salt he gets, but his endo has not changed his salt intake in a couple of years. i guess the docs know what they're doing, but sometime i wonder. god let's hope so for the childrens sake.
