I have heard of kids still on salt supplements. How many mg of salt are in these salt tablets? Our daughter and son both had .75-1.0 g of salt per day for the first year. After that both endo's (we moved inbetween kids) said they would get enough salt on table foods (Especially McFries, which seem to make up a large chunk of their diet) Both kids did/ are doing great. Our daughter is 2.5 yrs old and takes 0.1 mg fludrocortisone (florenef) once a day. unless sick her blood levels are right on target. I would ask if needed. Sounds odd to me.
