Excuse my ignorance, but is the test for you or your child? Have you had a child that has CAH? If you have then you don't need this test. Assuming you're the mother (and you were there for the birth, so I would think you are pretty sure about that), and if the child has CAH then you and the father have to be carriers, and would show sslight reduced adrenal function. If it's for the child, I thought it was a simple blood test they use to check. Where we live it's a standard screening proceedure for all newborn "boys" since it is critical to start treatment for salt-wasters right away. Hope this helps.
