Re: What's the normal dosage of liquid cortef in infants

I remember that my daughters dosage was about .75ml when she came home when she was an infant. But it went down and then went up. We also were on the 6,2,10 schedule. I was very accurate with her meds, as I was terrified not to be. Now she is 8 and I try to keep it as close as I can, realizing that if it goes an extra hour or so past, it is ok. I remember being bleary eyed at 6am, crushing her florinef in her little "meds" bottle with her cortef, and she used to sleep through the feeding. Also at 10, I went in her room, injected the cortef in the little syringe in her mouth, she'd swallow, and go right back to sleep. Now she is on pills.
