I was having problems with my daughter's (3yr salt-waster) behaviour for approx 1yr and the endo didn't believe that it had anything to do with CAH. Fortunately after reading some messages I finally convinced him to put her on the pill form of cortef since her 17ohp levels were too high and could not be brought down - she seems much better. Like Concerned Dad, I'm waiting for the results. I have learnt that it is not the steriod itself that causes my daughter to be a monster, it's when her 17ohp levels are off. So if the steriod isn't doing it's job (liquid form) or if your she isn't receiving the right dose, then I encounter problems. I believe that the new results will show an improvement in her levels and that this is why she is much more tolerable. It's nice to have a regular 3yr old's mood swings - not the uncontrollable energy! Good luck, I hope that this helps.
