When my son vommited a few times, we tried the Phenergan suppositories so that he would not get dehydrated. It was not working so we went to the ER. They not only gave him another dose of phenergan, but put him on IV form of cortef and fluids. I personnaly think it is a good idea to have the phenergan in your refrigerator for all of your children. When you need it, you don't want to have to call it in at 3am! Of course, I did call the ped and ask him if he thought it was a good idea before I administered it. That way, the proper dose was given. Keep in mind, these suppositories will make your child sleepy. So use caution and consult your doctors.Debbi
