I'm 42 and was diagnosed with late onset CAH 8 years ago.I began having difficulty with my periods after my son was born in 78,and also had trouble conceiving.After 5 years my daughter was born.My gyno finally sent me to an endo who found it.My symptoms were menstual irregularities,facial hair and an over-all yucky feeling.He put me on Aldactone and Prednisone which helps.I asked to be taken off the Prednisone and that was a mistake.I felt terrible so he put me back on.Of course the Prednisone doesn't help the weight but I can live with that.My question is....what are the long term effects of being on Prednisone?
