Hi, we are very concerned because our fourteen month old daughter is not getting the write dosage. She is now taking 13ml of cortef per day. She takes 5ml at 7:00 am, 4ml at 3:00 pm, and 4ml at 11:00 pm. These high dosage amounts have not produced good lab results on the 17 OHP test. She has now been tested 8 times, and not once has her levels been under 400. Her test levels have been as high as 6300 and as low as 438 when she was on 15 ml per day. Her average test results are abour 3000. Her endocrinologists would like her test levels to be under 200. She is taken 5 times as much cortef as most children her age with unproductive lab results. Our Endo. has explained to us that her high dosage and high lab results are very unordinary. We are very concerned for our daughter, and would appreciate any advice that might be helpful to us or to hear from others that are or have experienced problems similar to ours.Steven
