I was just reading your comments on early surgery, so maybe someone out there can help me with a few things. I'm a teenage girl w/CAH. I know I had surgery when I was very little (18 mos. or so) to correct my genital abnormalities from CAH. It must not have entirely done its purpose because I can't even use a tampon...they just don't fit. Any thoughts on what I'm going to have to go through to get this fixed? I know I need an appointment with an OB/GYN, but I keep putting it off. Also, I've been reading about the problems some adults with CAH have had (polycystic ovaries, gallstones, infertility, etc.) and I'm getting a little scared. Up until I found this message board a few months ago, this was just something I lived with. Now it's starting to sound kinda bad. Any thoughts?
