Congratulations, Auntie!! I don't really have any specific advice. However you did ask for any input. I have CAH. I am one of eight children. I had an older sister who died from CAH in 1958. I have 5 brothers and one sister, none of which exhibit any signs of CAH. My sister has 3 kids, all ok (i.e. do not exhibit any symptoms). Of my brothers, all their kids (9 in total) seem ok. This is not to say they are not carriers. I have two children and they are carriers. I went for genetic counseling but none of my siblings did. If you are concerned, you can mention it. There are tests to determine if the baby has it. More states are testing for this during newborn screening. Everything will be fine regardless.
