Kati: That is a hard question to answer not knowing your family. But if I had the opportunity to know that my daughter had CAH before she was born, it would have better prepared my husband and I for it. The fact that her genital abnormalities prevented us from knowing her sex, was shock enough. Then to be told your baby has a disease called CAH, was another huge blow to someone who had no idea that this disease exsisted. I feel it would be a great advantage to mention this to them. Especially coming from someone who has it. I was introduced to a nine year old girl who has CAH after my daughter was born. It put my mind at great ease to see, yes she was a healthy normal little girl. My daughter is two now. She is my everything. GOOD LUCK!!!!
