My daughter has not been officially diagnosed with Late onset CAH, but she is a carrier. She also is showing signs at the age of six of going through puberty. There is no doubt in our minds she does have this. Yes, she also has been diagnosed with depression. She was put on zoloft about two months ago and is back to her happy little self. In our case she is smaller, has ambiguous genitalia and just feels very insecure about herself. The meds have done wonders, few side effects, (mild tummy aches occasionally). I will be taking her to her endo this month to be tested once again, but 3 months ago, still tested neg for LOCAH. After reading about this, I just don't understand why my husband can't be tested to find out if he's a carrier. THis would answer our questions. We don't have the money to travel or pay for expensive testing. We are a blended family, and have three other children, and are on quite a low income. Good luck to you. If you know of any places that are able to help with testing on a sliding fee scale or other please let me know. Thank You, ALLYGAllyG
