My daughter takes Lupron for precocious puberty which is what is being described. It has nothing to do with late diagnosis or poor CAH control. It is a separate issue and happens that some CAH children also have the precocious puberty and many others without CAH also have this disorder. I only mention this because it would be unfair for someone to believe that they/their doctor was not doing something properly that caused this to happen to their child when, in fact, in my daughter's case her CAH was being managed very well when we got the precious puberty diagnosis. They are two different disorders which are treated differently, although both by an endo.
