I just found this board Christmas week. Thank you for all the input. I have read the messages that told of your huge losses due to adrenal crisis/shock. That takes alot of courage to share. I have several questions about adrenal crisis. I have a 2 year old daughter that has CAH and is a salt waster. I am aware that a high fever, vomiting, and diarrhea can bring on a crisis that can lead to shock and death. Is there any other danger that I am not aware of? Like did the children that did die, have a hard to control CAH problem? Are there different "levels" of CAH salt wasting patients? I plan to read more info. on adrenal crisis, but sometimes a book lacks "experience" that helps us to cope better for our children. Again thank you for your input.
