Both mom and dad have to be carriers (carry the gene for CAH but do not have CAH). So just MOM as a carrier would not produce a CAH baby. You need a genetic blood test for CAH to find out if you are a carrier or have a very mild form of late or on-set CAH. I read that very mild CAH is hard to detect without the genetic testing.
