Cortef, or hydrocortisone that my daughter takes, definitely causes increased appetite. My daugher is overweight and we battle this constantly. She was doing so good from a weight perspective over the summer - then her tests came back that her meds needed to be increased. Immediately the appetite sky-rocketed. She has, of course, gained weight and we will address that next month at the endo's office.
