When giving Cortef to a sleeping child, how many of you have been told to follow it up with milk? (since the bottle does state to take it with milk or food). Our problem is we can sneak the Cortef in and she will not awaken, but if we try to give her milk with it, she awakens. Who wants a two year old awake at 10 or 6??? However, it seeems that just Cortef without anything else would be hard on the esouphogous (sp??) or stomach. thoughts???
