Cindy, CAH is a hormone deficiency. If your meds are at the wrong dosage, you can mess with your body chemistry severely. For example, my endo switched my meds in August, and by September I was what you could probably describe as clinically depressed. When my bloodwork came back, my levels were way off and my endo immediately doubled the dosage. That helped almost literally overnight. I'm more or less well-adjusted, so there's nothing a therapist could have done except stick my parents with a stiff bill.
