I am relatively new to the message board. Having just posted a few last Friday. In reading some of the older messages I was struck by this term adrenal crisis. My children, 14 and 8 have been treated for CAH 21 hydroxylase/non salt waster for many years and I have never been told about adrenal crisis or the symptoms for which I should look. Could someone please give me a brief overview. I will call my chidren's doctor tomorrow but it will help me to sleep tonight if I have some info. I became particularly upset in reading a message from Anne who indicated that her child died as a result of adrenal crisis. I am so sorry. Please e-mail or post message if you can help. Thanks.
