Hi Gang, It's me again--14 year old son with CAH still searching for a specialist in growth hormone therapy. I contacted Dr. New's assistant in NY. She spoke with some specialists who feel that at Bryan's bone age of 15, he is 96% grown and that growth hormone wouldn't help at this point. I feel since he still has some growing to do, it couldn't hurt. If anyone's child is on growth hormone, could you let me in on the side effects. I feel if those are not too great, why can't Bryan just begin the therapy and see where it leads? It may lead to the same answer of 5'4" adult height but we would be no worse off than we are now and we would have at least tried! I know there are worse problems connected with CAH - I hope no one is taking offense to my all out effort here to get my son a little more height. He's a strong kid and he'll survive the outcome regardless but I have to try. Thanks for listening. I am conducting my own search and will post the results when they become available.Liz
