I would like to hear from anyone in the Memphis, Tn. area who could recommend a good ob/gyn with some experience in prenatal testing for cah. Our 7 seven year old daughter has CAH. When I was pregnant with our 4 year old daughter, my ob/gyn did an amnio. but the test results were inconclusive and he admitted that he wasn't exactly sure which tests to order. By then, it was too late for him to become "educated" on the topic. Anyway, as we consider a third child, I would like to be a little more prepared........... So, even if you can't recommend an ob in this area, any info. on specific testing, where to find out, etc. would be appreciated. Also,is it safe to take the dexamethasone? What if the child does not have CAH? Can it cause any problems for a non-cah fetus? Thanks for any advice.
