Hi Susan! I have responded to a pior question on the board regarding the Solu Cortef shot. At the time I was going to speak with my son's endo as to why she never prescribed it. Well, we had an appointment yesterday. I explained my many concerns, fever, vomitting, etc. and she gave us a prescription with no problem. She said that it isn't that she did not want to give it to us, she just hasn't seen it used often in her many years of pratice. However, she did confer that it is a good idea to have on hand. It is your call, but I believe that if you express a concern to any doctor, they should make every effort to relieve your aniexty - not fight you on it. Go with your gut feeling - there is nothing more valuable or reliable than a mother's instincts! Oh - you had previously asked where my endo is located - she is out of New York.
