Here's the scoop. Several times after finding this board I have called the endo asking for the RX for the solu-cortef. The first call I said that I would wait for now but would probably be calling back for it. She said OK. Then I read more on the Solu-cortef and knew it was a MUST HAVE. I called her again. It took a while for her to call me back. I had to leave several messages with different people... I even left the # for the pharmacy so she could just call it in. So she calls and is again questioning why I want it. One of her concerns was that I wouldnt know how to inject. I just happened to have the PENS instructions handy ( THANK YOU Anne ) and read them to her. HA !! I also told her that I would much rather tell her down the road that she was right that Brayden would never need the solu-cortef than her tell me how sorry she was because my son was dead. She said she would mail the RX. In my victory of the moment I didnt think to say NO dont mail it.. Here is the phone # to call it in. So that was several days ago. If I check the mail today and it is not there I am going to call again. I am very irritated by all this since I always thought Childrens Hospital Boston was among the BEST and she is supposed to be highly trained and have lots of experience with CAH. SusanBraydensmom
