I am 20 years with CAH. I have taken Cortef since I was first diagnosed. Recently I started seeing a new doctor and he says that my cortef intake is high for someone of my age. I am taking 40mg. He has me taking dexamethason now. He has told me that this should be better for me because I have no side effects from taking that much cortef. I am wondering if anyone out there has been taken off cortef and put on dexamethason. I am curious to side effects or anything different experienced after the switch. Thanks so much! Beth
