Does anyone know if hydrocortizone comes in 5 milligrams? I went to get my daughter's prescription filled today and the pharmacist said the lowest does is 10 milligrams, which means I would have to break it in half and the night dose is 2.5 muilligrams, which means I would have to break it again. I would much prefer to have the correct oill if necesarry. Also, her doctor order soluf-cortef activated. Does activated mean all I need to do is something simple to make it liquid form? We meet with her Monday before we administer any meds and I will ask her, but I wondered if anyone was aware. She was just recently diagnosed with the non-classical CAH Thank you.
