My son is almost 16yr., and while we did not have behavior swings at medication dose change times, we did have migraines, diagnosed at age 4-5 years, and of course that meant crying, occassional nausea, and lots of irritablity with siblings. A trigger for him can be a need for an increase. There are diet and activity triggers as well, such as lack of sleep and chocolate. We watch carefully the difference between types of headaches, since we are aware of blood pressure concerns with increased florinef. As a young adult, he has learned to be aware of his body and its signs and signals, and to look at what might have contributed to how he is feeling and then to communicate this . He can differentiate headaches. Best of luck to you all.Kathleen
