Re: School and injections

Do they expel children with diabetes, allergies to bee stings, or asthmatics? Under certain conditions, these health problems require an injection, as well. Good luck.....but as far as your daughter is concerned, if she gets sick at school, you would go pick her up, right? If she falls and breaks an arm (which would require a shot of Solu-cortef), you could get to her within 30-60 mins, right? I asked my endo for orders for our school nurse to give an injection...and he would have, put he really prefers me or my husband to do it. We're the ones who know about CAH and he feels better if we can do it. (as long as I can make it to school in a decent amount of time...which I can). Health-wise, I'm sure your daughter will be fine......Legal-wise...I'll be praying for you! Let us know how it goes. :)Kare
