Oh Michele...my heart goes out to you. I am shocked and appalled at the school. But growing up Catholic myself, and going to Catholic schools, I do know that they kind of have their own rules and regs. But this is blatant discrimination, and I would definately do as you are doing and consult a lawyer. Go after the diocese. Do they, as said in the previous posts, do this in case of an allergy to bee stings, or diabetes...My daughter is 8, and has never needed any emergency injection at school. I know the chances of that are slim, as I told her school nurse. I told her if Amanda was not feeling well..I'd probably keep her home anyway. See...the Catholics church is what is making people mad at the religion. It's not the religion...it's the people running the church. Would God want your daughter turned away from school because of this condition??? OF COURSE NOT!!!! THIS IS A TOTAL OUTRAGE!!! Keep us posted... Good Luck to you Eileen
