I'm sure you can find lots of suggestions about how to help your daughter gain weight, although genetics play such a big role in this, that I think this is probably not really a big deal. My pediatrician told us that kids sometimes don't gain alot of weight for a while after they start walking and running around. My first impression is that your endo is more concerned with her growing rapidly, as this can indicate that the amount of hydrocortisone she is getting is not adequate, and her doses are wrong. Maybe you should ask your endo to clarify what he/she is concerned about, and what can be done about it. If, indeed, their concern is with the weight alone, they can refer you to a dietician, who can give you lots of good info, ideas and resources. Good luck!Wendy-Lee
