Our 2 1/2 year old still takes the sodium chloride, 1.5ml three times a day. The solution is 4mq/ml I don't know how to figure id that is equal or not to yours. She takes it will her cortef. Straight. We put the dropper in and she sucks it down. Have done it this way since she was 4 mos old. The endo said when she was more in control of her food she could be weaned. Yet I am not in a hurry becuase her renin levels often run high, (she is on 2 tabs of florinef a day,) and it seems when I really concentrate on adding salt to her food her levels are better. It is hard for me to add salt because it is so different from the rest of us. We give her the shaker sometimes and she will salt everything. We get weird looks at restaurants when she is licking salt out of her hand or turning her food white! We get the sodium chloride thru a mail order pharmacy. At first the insurance didn't want to cover it because it is technically an injectable but once the endo wrote them a letter it was no problem.dina
