It is important not to stop giving the medications. You must always give the florinef and always add salt the diet or food. Florinef helps keep the salt in the body but you must add salt to the diet (food or milk). Without the florinef the body can not keep the salt (it goes out in the wet diapers - urine). That is why the florinef is giving twice a day to a baby less than one year because they wet so many diapers and wet during the night. Without the florinef then the blood pressure will be too low... and that can explain the soft spot being sunken due to the fluid not being balanced in the body. It can lead to the brain swelling and brain death. So this is very important - DO NOT EVER STOP THE MEDICATION!!!
