Hi! I dont remember the dosage of his liquid salt. But I do remember he got it 3 times a day. As always I think it just depends upon the individual some will need more and some less. But to makes sure he got all his dosage this is what I would do. If he drank 8 ounces at his feeding I would give him a 3 ounce bottle with the salt that way I know he would finish it. Then I would give him a 5 ounce bottle and if he didnt finish it, it would be ok cause I knew he already got it. Get a perscription from your endo for the liquid salt and give it to your pharmacy they will get it for you. More than likely they will ask you what it is for but they have to get it for you if you have a script for it.I never gave my son table salt while he was a infant but when he got older I added it to his food but just like any normal person would add it cause he gets florenif also. And if she needs more she will let you know by stealing the salt shaker lol even at age two he did and still now. If I cant find the salt shaker I just ask him for it cause he takes it to his room and eats it. This is not always just ocasionaly lol. Also when your child goes off the liquid they will trial and error with the florenif he was taking 4 I believe and they had him come in at 3 months to see how he was handleing it and his pressure was out of this world then they lowered it to 2 and it was still high but not as bad and then they gave him 1 and that is still what he gets just 1 a day since he was 2 yrs old. Just remember each child is different not two the same and different doses for different people. He also takes 15 mg. of cortef a day, for three yrs now and I have a friend who has a son with the same thing and he is 6 mo. older than my son and he doesnt even take that much yet. And we both have the same endo. I hope this helps please contact me at BUDYROSE@AOL.COM
