I am one of the parents who posted a few months ago about the liquid cortef and high OHP 17 levels. We switched our now 8.5 month old daughter to the pill form, and six weeks later her numbers were within normal range for the first time ever! Needless to say, we were thrilled. We have an unopened bottle of the liquid cortef left over in the cabinet and the lot number is 05CJX. For us, splitting the pills, even to the 1/4, then crushing etc. is well worth the peace of mind of not worrying about a defective product. I would also like to throw in an update from seeking the "Atlanta area ped. endo" that I posted a couple of months ago - we found a WONDERFUL new ped. endo, Dr. Parks, at the Emory Pediatric Clinic. He gave us more information in one visit than our other endo ever provided all together. We feel so blessed to have found him! -Debbie
