Although I've been happy with our ped endo, from reading this board I've learned the true experts are all of you and I'd like to run something by you to make sure it sounds right to you.... my son just turned 9 and CAH was caught late (a year ago). When he was 8 his bone age was 12.5 yrs. Now at 9 it is 13.6 yrs. Dr, says the meds are doing what they should and he is slowing down. She has never even considered any growth hormones. She made it sound to me like he'll just be as tall as he ends up to be. Since I know there are so many worse things to have happen than to be short I haven't given it much thought until I recently read on this board about growth hormones. Does this seem typical and we should let nature take it's course or are there things that can be done to help? Just wondering if I've been missing out on some info I should have been pursuing or not. Thank you very much, TonyaTonya
