Thanks. Yes, I think ALL states should screen for CAH. In addition to preventing deaths, it would increase CAH awareness amongst physicians and state authorities (as that state would more likely have information such as brochures & a protocol sheet, social workers with info, etc.) AND have a list of doctors in that area who can be referred to with a positive diagnosis. Then, there wouldn't be so many deaths of 'already diagnosed & being treated' CAH children. There are so many of us who have lost a child to this!!
