Ok call me stupid, but can someone explain how the sugar levels are important to a CAH child? I don't remember my daughters endo. mentioning to watch these. It's funny that I just read one of Anne's messages below. She had mentioned the sugar level. In November we had moved. My daughter is NEVER a good eater. So the couple of days spent moving, she really wasnt eating much. The next day she got really lathargic and just wanted to nap. Now she had just dropped her nap time in July or August. Every now and then she did require a nap. But this I felt was different. I thought she was coming down with something. I offered her her bottle and she refused it (Which is NOT right, she loves this bottle) When I put her to bed she just kept moving like she could not get settled like she had the flu that hurt all over. I finally got her to sleep on a car ride. (I was desperate) Came home, laid her down and she was awake and moving again. I finally got her in a tub, got a double dose of cortef down her. Got her dressed and finally got a bottle of milk in her. She refused anything else. She laid on the couch for an hour. After that she jumped off the couch and was totally back to herself. She even ate a huge meal at dinner too. I asked her endo. and he said it could have been her sodium level was low ect. So I had her levels checked the next day and they were fine. Now can you tell me what you think happened? She has NEVER had this happen before. I would have asked you this in November But I just found this board in Dec. Thanks for you input.Laura
