I feel very fortunate to live in California. We can test on a Monday and have the results available to us on Wednesday. They are even so familiar with us at the lab they will read us the results (over the phone) that they faxed the to the endocrinologist. My 6 yr. old salt-wasting daughter not only gets tested for 17OH but also gets a Renin test. The results come in together.
