My daughter has burned slightly before - but we are generally careful to use sunscreen - all of us do. We are around the water, boating, and at the beach fairly frequently. She gets the most beautiful tan - and it lasts for months after the summer is over. Even her endo commented on her beautiful skin. Who knows? Maybe it's the little bit of Italian she has in her!
