I'm not too sure whether it fits, with your son's quick recovery, but we were told that ANY time Samantha becomes unconscious for any reason, (sp) she is to have the solucortef injection. If the pain was so severe, that his body reacted in a 'flight or fight' way, then it seems a good indication, of pretty severe stress to me. I'd check with your endo, but please let us all know what he says... I've never had this situation with Sam, but would like to know what to do, if it occurs!
