In layman's terms - it is just like heartburn. As to whether or not it is a derivative of CAH, that is anyone's call. According to my son's MD's and parents I have spoken with, LOTS of average babies have acid reflux. In most cases they outgrow it within the first 6 to 12 months of life. Kimberly
