I took dex for a few months until I found out my unborn daughter was not affected. She is absolutely healthy, six months old tomorrow. I on the other hand did not fare as well. I gained about a zillion pounds. Also, 3 days after I gave birth, I was re-admitted to hospital with extremely high blood pressure 190/110. My normal bp is 90/50. I had to be on meds for 3 months. Would I do it again, you betcha. Good luck. Also, I had a CVS....it was pretty easy and painless.
