Me too! I am pregnant and due in October. I will have the CVS test next month. I am taking the dex. The surgery and psychological effects on a girl - it just would be a shame not to take it the dex if it was a girl and it would prevent the whole thing. And I will only be on the dex for a few weeks if the CVS tests shows it a boy or unaffected girl. I know that the dex side effects - too weight gain so much that a ugliest scars because the doctor prescribed too much and blurred vision, hard to breath, black stools, etc. It was a reduced to .5mg three times a day from 10mg (WOW !! way too much) that was with my second pregnancy - I had the amnio and not the CVS. But I recommend the CVS - much earlier. I had CVS test with my last child, Adam - and stopped the dex because he was a boy... and has CAH. No affect on him = he looks great!! I wondered about the dex and affects on a boy but there were none. preston@kreative.netRoberta
