The entire treatment for your child accounts for his growth. That is why they do so many blood tests to make sure the meds are doing their jobs. Your child's endo should have been watching his weight and growth very close. My daughter is two and a half and is a salt waster. Her endo tells me if we give too much cortef it will effect her growth and if we don't give enough it will effect her growth. So your endo has to find the right balance.
